Saco River, Conway NH

Got up early and went up to the Saco today. Needed to get my fishing done by 9:30 before all the tubers and kayakers got on the river. Once they start you can't really fish. So the bite was quite good. They were hitting bead head nymphs and hoppers. Caught 1 brown and a lot of brookies. Did a lot of site fishing since this is a very clear river. Found a couple spots where they were stacked up. Another great morning of fishing!

Pittsburg NH

Just got back from a fishing trip with a couple friends to Pittsburg NH. What a blast we had. Fished every day from 7:00 am till 8:30 pm. The fishing was great. Fished rivers, streams and ponds. Everywhere we went we caught fish. One pond we hit in the evening and the rainbows were crazy. Couldn't keep them off our lines. Caught brookies, rainbows and salmon. What a place!!!!!!!!

Another Friday Night

Fished another pond Friday night that I've never been to. Wind was blowing strong which made a good workout in the kayak. Was able to get a couple tiger trout. First time I've ever caught one. Also caught a yellow perch and a smallmouth. All but one trout came on a Prince nymph. That one trout was caught on a small dry fly. This has been a fun time hitting a new pond every Friday night.
